FACTORS RELATED TO BURNOUT INCIDENCE IN MIDWIVES DURING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC

Background: Health workers including midwives have the potential to experience mental fatigue or burnout syndrome caused by prolonged stress interpersonal pressure, especially at work. The COVID-19 pandemic has an increase in burden of health services which can also incidence burnout. During pandemic, percentage who experienced was 83%. Burnout impact on reducing quality services. purpose this study analyze factors associated with among during Dr. Soetomo City Surabaya. Method: This uses analytic observational method a cross-sectional approach aims correlate variable variables age, length work, marital status, relationship husband/family, husband/family support, number children, and personality. Total population 94 sampling technique using total sampling. instrument used is questionnaire. collected data were analyzed chi-square analysis. Results: out midwives, 53 included inclusion. A 36 (68%) moderate burnout, 9 (17%) severe 8 (15%) mild Based study, related are age service, while that not family Conclusion: shows most participated category work midwives.
